Hello,

In the April group it's a split with AORs and people still pending confirmations. There is a spreadsheet available to get an idea what we observe the average to be for April applications. Also, ongoing we all update as AORs and SA rolls in. I think most of us are at the AOR stage though. Good luck with your application!

If I missed anything, I'm sure someone will add a timbit. Everyone has been super supportive.

Hi Everyone.

Just a quick question.

Some people include their flight ticket as a proof of relationship. But did you guys really kept every flight tickets ? I threw all of them in the trash after every travel.

Is there any way to get these tickets or a history flight ?

Thank you

You can also submit copies of your passport pages. I put my spouse's and mine each on a page showing we met in a far off land

We didn't have the actual boarding passes either but had email confirmations of the bookings and sent these. Also sent the passport stamps showing each other's entrance into the other's country :)

congrats to the the AOR's!

Kathi2 - thanks for joining the spreadsheet but you are a March applicant so should probabl track your details through there. I will leave you on our sheet at the bottom though.

Yeah apeats to take around 21 days with some early ones and some later ones.

What the apreadsheet is for - so we can see how we are autting with everyone else :)

At least up until SA ;)

After that - it is all different based on the VO and the case.

Thank you everyone !

I hope I'll become as knowledgeable as you guys.

If some of you are living in Calgary, we should hang out and I'll pay the beer :P

You are using this application package to sponsor a spouse, correct? Outland: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp Inland: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp

There should not be a Financial Evaluation form in the application package. I've never heard anyone filling out a form called anything like that for spousal sponsorship before.

Also, there isn't a financial requirement to sponsor a spouse. You will need to provide your most recent Notice of Assessment from the CRA website, but that is mainly to prove that you have not been on social assistance other than disability.

It's no problem.

May I ask if CIC will accept the copy of option c and notice of assessement via MyAccount if I just print it myself? would they consider that original copy? or do i just need to wait for the CRA to directly mail it to me via post mail? cause i just called yesterday telling me to wait 5-10 business days before I receive my notice of assessment and option c. thanks

As stated in the document checklist, the CIC only requires the Notice of Assessment printed from the CRA website. This changed in February.
