Could anyone please tell me of an application can be returned to you after getting AOR?

Normally no. Theyd request information before anything at this stage if i remember right.

I need suggestion from senior members here...My husband's name was changed on his passport(his last name was removed and his middle name was added as last name) and after changing it he did not get a new passport but the correction was done on the same passport and the change was mentioned on the second page of his passport. When i filled my husband's application, I did not use his last name in any of the forms. When recently i got AOR, his name on the email was written as it is on his passport(including last name). I think the VO did not check the correction. Even on ecas, i can access his application using his last name. Now we are worried what if CIC/NDVO complains about the incorrect names in the forms.

could you please explain if we need to call CIC and explain them about the situation? or should I just wait?

Use your uci number and make a case specific enquiry explainng the situation and I would also send on to the vo when you find out where it is the same information until someone acknowledges your message.

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place... I am applying for spousal sponsorship for my partner, we live in New Zealand, my partner is a NZ citizen. We sent our application to the Mississauga office about 30 days ago and haven't heard anything if it has been received, etc. yet. Is this normal? Is there a phone number we can call? Just wondering if anyone else has experienced such a long wait time?

when my husband sent me the signed immigration forms in the mail from macedonia he sent it with macedonian post and they told him it should take 7-10 business days.. well it arrived in canada after a week but was stuck in customs for 2 and a half weeks and it was only the forms! i waited 3 and a half weeks for the forms to arrive to me.. when i would call customs to ask what is taking so long for my forms to pass through customs when its only sheets of paper they told me immigration papers go in another pile at customs for fraud check and they could be there for up to 4 weeks although i hadnt even signed them yet and no proof of the relationship was in the package just the forms which was very confusing.. once they passed through customs i got them that day or the next.. the package was never opened.. so weird

they told you that it would take 10 business days but they have no control over customs.. it may not have arrived on the 10th business day

Hi! I have a question on Sponsor Questionnaire. My husband who is sponsoring me has a kid and he signed the document that shows he's the biological father. The mother though refuse financial support and visitation as she's also with another man. Actually my husband isn't sure if it's his but he signed as the father anyway . In the Sponsor Questionnaire, it asks: List your children , including those from your previous relationship./ If any of your kid do not live with you, give details of your formal / informal visiting rights. Indicate how often you visit your children and if you provide any financial support for them.

My question is, would it be possible for him not to declare his child? He signed in the birth certificate but would they find out if the check his background?

he needs to declare his child, then the cic will ask him for medical exam and if the mother of the child won't cooperate explain it to the cic, they'll probably ask you to send your explanation anyway.if can prove that his ex wife or whoever is uncooperative the cic will send him a letter saying that he allows the cic to remove his child as family member.

I believe she later said her husband was the sponsor, not the applicant, so his child shouldn't need to undergo a medical anyways, but should still be declared.
