My eCAS just updated to show that principal applicant's "Medical results have been received." It did not show that the other day when I was first able to check eCAS. I guess it just takes some time for the system to update. Also, I believe sending out AORs is something that is done automatically by the system, and that is probably why AORs get sent the day after they actually start processing the application.

Oh, that, that just says to call if you've exceeded processing times and/or you cannot check the status online, not that they're no longer updating it.

No problem. Out of curiosity, what time did you get the AOR email? I got mine at about 9am PST, but I received an email response from CPC-M (correcting a mistake on a form) at about 5pm PST

How did you go about correcting a mistake on information already submitted? Is that the same channel for submitting additional information?

Got you! Thanks, that's a good point. But how do I know if they're still updating it when nothing happend in a long time...I guess I'll call anyway.

I had forgotten to mention a voluntary withdrawal that I had received once on the application since I wasn't sure if it was denied entry or not (I was allowed entry before it was given to me... long story). I emailed CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca with mine and my sponsor's information (names, dates of birth, address, etc) to CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca. This was before I had received AOR, so I didn't know if they would respond, but they did.

Kathi2, I would still call if I were you since you're over the processing time. eCAS is often inaccurate anyways and some people don't have theirs updated for unknown reasons. One March applicant didn't have their eCAS updated to show SA and didn't get any correspondence. After calling, they found out that they did get SA even though they hadn't had any communication from the CIC.

You sync your application to it and itll email you when your ecas is updated. Not sure if anyones interested or even if it still works but yeah.

For now estimate for SA is 41 days, I am on day 23rd after applying only.



Do I count 41 days from day of receiving or when they starter processing it? can I contact them on day 42?

Must have been taken offline then. Ah well worth a shot. I couldnt do anything till i got my aor.

Count from the day they received it, not the processing date. Yeah, I would wait to contact them until day 41/42.

I've been checking eCAS every day... multiple times a day... I might be checking it compulsively at this point
