Hi every body , Got invitation by e.mail to appear to do my citizenship test yesterday however, there is no update on E.CASE !!!

I am from the GTA too and the wait continues for us. That said, 2 people from the GTA have received test invites. So things are moving albeit a little slowly

Yesterday I became a Canadian citizen!! ;D The ceremony was a very nice occasion and I am very happy to be at the end of the process. I wish luck to all of you here and thank you for the information you have shared. I look forward to welcoming you all as fellow Canadians very soon!

Guys, Should I give a copy from all documents in test day? (copy of passport , PR) or original is enough? because in letter it says that bring copy of all documents!

No answer?!!

Just originals are enough. However, you can make a color copy of all the pages of your passport, in case the officer needs it for further verification. Also if you have non-English/French stamps in your passport get a translation of those stamps.
Also take all your expired passports too.

Hi guys,

For those who had the interview already, I am wondering if it is ok that I present my ID with my previous address? Or should I go to ICBC and update with my current address? I do have my current lease with me.

Hello all, hope you guys are doing well. Congrats to all those who got the test invite and esp. to those who finally became the citizens

October has started i.e. over 6 months now and the majority of us (GTA applicants) have not progressed beyond "In Process" which is indeed quite frustrating when we too paid the same (high) processing fee but still not even clear what's going on with our cases. When I spoke with an agent at CIC over a month ago she confirmed to me that my file is still in Sydney, however, a week ago when I called CIC again and spoke with another agent, he refused to tell me where my file is saying they don't look into people's files and are not supposed to. I told him that one of their own agents did in fact look into my file a month ago and gave me the info but he kept on insisting that that's not something they do. Basically, every agent that you speak with will respond to you in a different way which is weird i.e. no consistency at all. I don't think anything will happen now before the elections, moreover, since they say that the new applications will now be processed in a year or less they still have another 6 months buffer to work on our files!

Hello All
I am from Montreal, I have sent my application on 29 March 2015 and it is on in-process status from 4 June 2015. But untill now I didn't recieve any Notification for Test. I know a lot of people who has sent their application after me (on May and June) and they have recieved Test Notification.
Is there anybody else from April who hasn't recieved the Test Notification.
