We sent you a notice on July 28, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on August 13, 2015 at 8:30 AM. I was a minor when I arrived in Canada almost 7 years ago an never left so my case was pretty straight forward

My application has been IN PROCESS since June 9 ! Nothing since then....

Me, still waiting for "In process" since AoR email on June 2nd.

Hope this week,we get the '' on process '', there are only three April applicant who didn't get the '' on process '' status.

Thanks Amine. It is very slow indeed here in Mississauga. I am not expecting something to happen soon. They should be able to provide more staff for high-applicant areas like Mississauga to avoid backlog. I do not know how things work and how they operate and allocate applications, though. It has been 3 months now since I sent our applications and almost 6 weeks for the AOR. I wonder how long it will take them to process a family file in this busy city.

What do you guys mean by ATIP ? I already ordered my entry history from CBSA using ATIP (I think)... but what do you need to request (and how) to have this kind of information ? Will also ordering this have any impact on the citizenship application ?

How come you were allowed to apply for urgent processing? And we were supposed to send ATIP information to Canada Immigration for all our entry exit records? Why did they make you do these things?

A person can can request ATIP basically for many reasons however following are just two that I would like to elaborate:

1. To get your CBSA entry/exit records. ( You have to use Canada Border Services Agency from the drop-down menu)

2. To get notes/details about your citizenship application(You have to use Citizenship and Immigration Canada from the drop-down) which will include the current status of the application and the stage where the application is currently at. It also provide more details about your application which the call centre can't provide.

For option 2, I am not sure though if it affects the speed and processing of the citizenship application.
