April 2015 citizenship Applicants

Still in process from June 29,

Got my ATIP on Nov 15th, last update on it was July 28 as arrived in Scarborough office,

Worst office possible, and no one can contact them and ask why someone who got in Process in August has done the exam but my application is just sitting there with no updates!

Have a hug from me bud. We are all in the same boat.

I wonder if the other people's applications are being processed quicker because they sent more than the required documents? Something to think about

I looked at my ATIP and absolutely none of the assessments was even started, only criminality was passed since they do it in Sydney,

I am wondering if these people pile up files and for each CO few is left down there and forgotten,

you call CIC and they say the processing time is not past yet,

You know, I just can't accept a timeline that does not follow any logic!

I agree with you. I too think they pile up files for each CO.
I had the same issue with my PR. I heard nothing for 7 months and I had to go the MP's office to get the process started.

How many more active April applicants on this forum from the GTA location whose application is still in Process?

Mine is still in process from July 6.
I am an April applicant.

I agree -- In my situation i took test on 14 Oct Still In Process, My wife took test on Nov 4 her status changed in 1 week to DM. we both appeared in Calgary. Only difference is they my interview first and then Test

I don't think so, doesn't make sense to spend time and money for someone to have them do the test while not sure they meet the residency requirement, or language or...

I agree with you. I too think they pile up files for each CO.
I had the same issue with my PR. I heard nothing for 7 months and I had to go the MP's office to get the process started.

Unfortunately parliament is new and no MPs in the office yet, otherwise I would go and ask for follow up,

In my PR process, I did the medical exam but after two month no news, asked MP for follow up and guess what, I got the passport request next day!

Don't believe it is coincidence,

I got the invitation to appear for exam on 9th dec in Hamilton(applied from oakville) via mail.
Ecas is not updated

So the GTA applications are moving.

We started processing your application on June 24, 2015.
We sent you a notice on August 17, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on September 2, 2015 at 8:00 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
We sent you a notice on November 16, 2015 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on December 3, 2015 at 8:30 AM. So we are finally at the end of the process.

My wife's e-cas status changed to Decision Made... she took her test on Nov 12th...

her timeline is:
App Sent: 24 Apr (GTA applicant)
Recvd: 30 Apr
AOR: 18 Jun
IP: 16 July
Test: 12 Nov
DM: 16 Nov

I passed my test on October 8 in Calgary. DM within 4 days after the test.
Still awaiting oath invite since then. Anyone with a similar case :?
