yep, that's your AOR! Ecas most likely won't work until after SA. It also takes 2-3 days for it to work after getting SA, so don't worry if you try it and it doesn't work.Niki83 said:i think we got AOR!! I received an email saying This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. is that it? Received it an hour ago!
it has UCI number
yes, ONLY the sponsor will receive AOR and SA, the applicant will not receive notification until it's about their application.Niki83 said:Thank you its normal that i was the only one who received the email ? as my husband didnt receive an email, i am sponsoring him
as i told you yesterday, this is NORMAL. If they received your application on April 3rd, then technically they haven't even opened your application yet. As you may be reading on the threads, people who applied on 3/31 or before are just now receiving aor. Posting the same post every day isn't going to make the process go faster, or the answer change. Until CIC's website says they are working on applications WAY past your submission date (as in over 2 weeks - not just a day) , then there's nothing you can do except wait!Dhaliwal gagan said:M bit worried dey received my application on 3rd April bt nthing till nw.
Hmnn thanks, i knw bt why dey dont stick to their words 44 days means 44 days nd 50 days for minerhcohen2014 said:as i told you yesterday, this is NORMAL. your right, they don't "stick to their word", and we have to accept that. Those dates are estimates, not actuality. CIC can take as long as they want to process applications. Posting the processing time is a curtesy. Be grateful they are sharing SOMETHING about the process. Strictly going by what they post is pointless. Very little of their processing times are based on what actually happens.Dhaliwal gagan said:Hmnn thanks, i knw bt why dey dont stick to their words 44 days means 44 days nd 50 days for mine
Hearing frm u ws bit relief, thank u so much. Mayb ill hear smthing by da end of dis week.rhcohen2014 said:your right, they don't "stick to their word", and we have to accept that. The best way to follow the true trend is this forum. When other people who have received AOR or SA on days before you, you can hope yours is soon to follow. Check out the spreadsheet from march applications... and see what their wait time was. WAY beyond the "normal" processing time that was posted online when we submitted!
