Some of the forms have been updated.Make sure you send the updated forms.Also i have received a letter and a temporary uci # and they still have difficulty finding my application.

The lady on the phone said to just send a duplicate application as if they find the original, it will need to be exactly the same. I've attached a cover note to the front detailing what happened so hopefully that will do the trick!

Not an April applicant, but I posted here before. I received my SA a few days ago. You can check the march thread for more details. Basically, I submitted original application in March, but i/c form, resubmitted one form in May, got SA this week.

Almost 4 months for SA, but a new form had to be mailed in and each case is different. I was also out of the country which limited my resources to make inquiries.

No, unfortunately nothing new yet.

The only information here for myself (sponsor) is "decision made" and for husband (applicant) is "application received". No info on if the sponsor application has been approved or denied or if it had been forwarded to Sydney . Guess I will have to eagerly await the letter

Hello there... that is my status also, and I too have Sydney as my visa office. I just received an email today for a form request. I have to submit the stat dec of common law union IMM5409 to them, although this was not required originally. So hopefully that is in the post as soon as possible Monday so they can transfer my file to Sydney soon. So maybe they are still just looking through your documents to check all is there before they post it off. We got SA June 27th so it is has taken them this long to check that all forms are there.

Funds, proof: Proof of funds such as but not limited to; an employment letter, government issued documents ( example:T4`s), pay stubs, bank statements showing several months history, etc.
SPR’s residency: Evidence that your sponsor resides in Canada, or has taken steps to re-establish residence in Canada. This includes but is not limited to: pay stubs, T4 slips, utility bills, banking history, employment letters, lease agreements, etc. Driver’s licences, property tax assessments, social insurance or health insurance cards are not sufficient to show intent to return.

yea thats what I figured out too. Nov/Dec applicants are getting there passport request. I went into March 2014 thread. don't know how but one from march got visa in the month of june.

Iam sure they must have some political connect. It's all about 'who you know' in India!
