hi im sponsoring hubby .he is in uae and im here in canada.. it shows 44 days as step 1 to get a file no..anyone else with me? after how many days do i get file no and when will the actual file reach abudhabi? :'(

Have you received your SA yet .If so you can log in to ecas and see when they sent your file. Use your Cic # that was on your SA approval . If you haven't yet got SA you won't know untill you get it.

Hi Guys,

We both live in Canada. Wife is a PR, I am on OWP. Can I still apply an outland sponsorship application from New Delhi office. Since outland is faster..?

But once we will be approved, where do I send my passport for visa stamping? as to my understanding we should not send our passports out of country via mail.

Will visa office return my passport to my Canadian address? And how can we do landing then? do I have to go back India to collect passport and do landing at the airport?

I am confused..!!

just to answer one aspect of your question. You can do landing at any Canadian boarder, just drive there and you land it a simple process from what I've red on here. So you don't have to travel outside to be able to come back to land. I hope someone answer the rest of your questions

You get your client id (UCI) for the sponsor when you get your AOR. And ZZW got his aor already and that is how he can check ecas.

You can see your client id number in PR card.Its an eight digit number.

your client Id number in AOR is same as your Id number in PR card.

Hi guys I am new to this forum. I have applied to sponsor my wife. Cpc received my application on April 22 2014. Medicals will be done after. Still waoting for AOR. Please add me up on the spread sheet.

I just got my AOR on May 17. I haven't received my SA yet. Hope they will send it soon.

No we decided to take the second option by doing medicals for her afterwards. That shouldn't be the problem right? My wife can do medicals after the file reaches new delhi.

U shld hav got it done, coz it cn delay da process coz if u hav had it before den automatically ur medical vil b received by ndvo afta ur file reaches dea, bt nw dey vil mail or email first nd ask u to undergo a medical xam, den ull get it done nd lyk wise process cn slow down. Bt no worries u already filed so just chill it's ol about luck. Hope everyone of us get quick visas.
