Hey guys, Im a May applicant but I have a question for all of you.. Do You think that that number of the people on the application has something to do with processing time??

Two of May applicants who applied the same date as I did got their medical yesterday, but they are both single.. I was just wondering did you notice that in April applicants cases?

Thanks

I'm not sure about this, but from my personal experience: two of my friends who applied and got PR early this year had the same timeline (one married, one single). Nevertheless, it makes sense having some delays in your application if there are more people for background checks, medicals, etc.

Merry Christmas to everyone! :D

Once CIC will receive your RCMP or security check doc. Then after, you will get sooner passport request as other candidate happened same story.

If you don't mind, can you tell us what additional documents were requested ?
Something related to employment ? Or like a PCC ?

And also, was your ecas updated to Medical results received ?

I would appreciate your response.
Thanks,

Well, a bit of a surprise for me :) Now, my ECAS shows that my medicals were received...

1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 23, 2014.

2. Medical results have been received.

Great..still mine shown 1st line only and no update on medical received status after my medical get uploaded on Nov 27th by doctor office. Surprisingly CIC did not even respond to my email yet and it has been 10 days after email sent for confirmation. Don't know what happened to my medical and I am bit tensed whether they received it or not at least..
Applied GCMS and hoping it to come on 1st week of Jan.

No worries! It took up to 7 bussiness day to get an answer from them, even though it happened before holiday. So, it might take a while to reply back due the time of the year. However, if they hadn't received your medicals, they would have contacted you right away. Good luck! I was in the same position than you a few days ago, but chilling out it's the only way to don't suffer so much :)
