All the best you guys whoever waiting for MR and further. Here is my experience with medicals...

I booked an appointment with doctor "Dharmavathy Jegatheeswaran " on 18th Nov 2014, Everything went smooth except couple of days delay to complete all tests and below are the details.

When I called for an appointment to Doctor office, they said total Cost would be $190 (includes Doctors fee- $135, X-ray- 40, Blood test- 15) All test in the same premises and the whole process took around 1 hour 30 mins. Documents need to carry with you, Passport, Medical request form(Received in your email), no need to carry photo as it is Emedical enabled.

Upon reaching at doctor's office they ask you to first submit Medical request form with identify proof and then provide two (For mine & Spouse) Urinalysis Reagent Strips to dip in Urine for diagnostic. After urine test they give us Form to fill up for entire family, meanwhile they also called one by one to finish physical examination test. At first they took my height, weight, Photo, and Eye test, then asked me to wait for Doctor examination in separate room. Doctor came in 10 mins and asked couple of questions about my back ground, medical history, took my BP and said all done. My entire family repeated same and complete all together in 40 mins..They asked us to pay $135 each in cash only and said they will upload results within 5- 10 business days. At the end they given couple of prescription documents for Blood work and X-ray but in my spouse case they given extra Urinalysis test prescription as she need to perform 3 days after, which was performed on 22nd Nov 2014.

Next We went to Blood work first in the same buildings but other office and hardly seen only 5 members waiting in the hall and we completed our blood works in 30 mins all together and they charged $15 for me but $29((they accepts Credit card) for my spouse as she was requested by Doctor with more tests compared to mine..

After finish blood work, we went to X-ray in same building but different office and it completes in 15 mins for both mine and my spouse. They charges $40 each in cash only.

So, we finished almost every thing on the same day however as prescribed by doctor for my spouse, we had to wait couple more days to complete further urinalysis microscopic test and we did it on 22nd Nov 2014.

Hope my results get uploaded soon to CIC site and update you here once done..

I considered that Medicals received already. Wait til Friday to see update on your eCas notes.

A quick question guys,
Do we receive separate email from CIC when our file gets transferred to Ottawa for processing other than the AOR email ??

I completed medicals for me and my family today. We went to Dr. Daniel Garrett & Dr. Violet Shadd at Kitchener. It was a long drive for us, but I was impressed for all good reviews, and well, the price. In the end price wasn't actually as good as I was expecting. We paid $500 for medical examn for two adults and three kids, $40 per adult for x-ray and $15.60 for blood tests for two adults. It is a good price, not denying that.

It took around two and half hours for all of us. Dr Violet was really nice, and we didn't really need to wait at all. Nice and clean place, but far away from us. I got the appointment exactly the date and time I asked. Premises were clean, as said, and there were toys for kids. Dr. Violet was also very good with my small children.

Couldn't have expected the examn to be any better. Dr. Violet told they will send the results to CIC within three business days and will notify me through e-mail.

Pleae update the sheet.

Yes I did with Dr. Desmond Dwyer, did my med on Oct 17. They uploaded the result on Oct 22nd. Overall good, only thing is for the X-ray you have to go to Laurel & W 8th ave.

Interesting... So we can estimate that some April applicants may have already started being processed if not last week, this week.
