In few days I m going to apply for BOWP. What if I change my job when I get it? I can quit no problem or its recommended to wait until PR?

the BOWP is an open work permit so you can change your job anytime and also chose any employer even if your previous job was under closed WP.

I heard few rumours from friends that is better to stay on current job until PR cause employer can actually screw your PR application. In case I change job, do I have to send CIC that I changed the job or not?

I'm very valuable to my employer, I'm sure they wouldn't let me just like that, that's why I would be kind of afraid to look for something else.

I have basically the same issue. Another company is willing to sponsor me and they have extended an offer. I already said that I would like to wait and don't change jobs meanwhile my application is in progress, but I'm afraid of losing one big opportunity with them. I believe that there is no harm if you change jobs and your employer won't put any road blockers because you leave (better opportunity, salary, or whatever). It's up to you... I haven't decided it yet, but I'll see if I can put it off till end of december (somehow). At that point, our PRs should be in progress or quite ready... hopefully.

Hey, I believe my file has been misplaced somewhere inside CIC intake office because When i didn't get my file number on time (45 days according to month April). I sent an email to CIC and they replied me back" we have no record of your application in our system" which means they didn't open my file yet. Then i talked with local MP on August 1 and he told me that my file is lost inside the office and they are trying to find it. Finally, they found it and give me file number based on my information.
