For those who are still active on this forum and haven't received their confirmation yet, below is my timeline. Any recommendation on how I can reach out to CIC? I am based in New Zealand


April 1 2014 - Application submitted to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia
May 29 2014 - Acknowledgement of Receipt from CIO Sydney, NS
June 10 2015 - Request received for RFPR, Medical Examinations, and Police Record & Consent to Disclosure of Information (NZ) Form
June 16 2015 - Acknowledgement of RFPR payment being received
June 17 2015 - Medical examination completed
August 5 2015 - Police Record and Consent to Disclosure of Information Form sent to CPC-O via email. Received autoreply acknowledging receipt
November 4 2015 - Email received from CPC-O, requesting Police Record and Consent to Disclosure of Information Form
November 9 2015 - Police Record and Consent to Disclosure of Information Form sent to CPC-O via email. Received autoreply acknowledging receipt

No further correspondence received.

Hi All;

Today, I got RPRF request. I do not know why. where as I already landed in December. Do not know what to do..

Everyone seems to be getting this request. Seems to be a glitch in the system as people who have landed, been rejected, and already received PR cards are even getting the e-mail.

I wouldn't worry about it if you've already landed.

Yeah. I received it too...we were done with everything back in November. Just waiting for PR card. It must be a mistake...I have copies of receipt and withdrawal from acc in case they really need it

Hi, I am the one who posted this question.

I've just spoken with the CIC agent by phone and she verified that the Ottawa office made a mistake to send the email (request for payment of RPRF) to almost everyone, including the ones already closed. So, yes, the email was legitimate CIC email but it was a mistake.

Today, I got RPRF request. I do not know why. where as I already landed in December. Do not know what to do..

I too got an email asking for RPRF payment. I landed in last year may. I sent an email and they replied that it was due to mistake and asked me to ignore the email.

I called cic and i was told to call back after 21 months and call center will take required action.

I'm sure if you call them back today you will be told something different.

20 come February 10. Although, they told us it was 21 months from the date they started processing your application and not the date you sent it in. But who knows when the info is coming from CIC agents.

I applied on 24th April 2014 and still waiting for PPR. I called CIC agent and I was told that I will have to call them back after 24th april 2016.
