Honestly, it will be strange for me to stop checking the forum after I get PR. It helped me a lot to keep faith and answer all my questions that I will need to go to rehabilitation post-PR to fill the gap

Yeah, nothings better than drinking beer in a cold day and hearing the sound of the watefalls. I don't hear that often.

I've been looking at the forum since I did my work permit last 2012. I still haven't stop looking. Probably might once I get my citizenship 4 years from now.

Hi Guys.. wanted to know that i have tried numerous times to reach the number... whenever i call the call usually gets disconnected saying that "Due to large volume of calls we cannot transfer your call to the agent." does anybody else also face this issue..??

This is the same situation with me. I paid my upfront RPRF around Nov 24th. After that My ECAS status got changed to In Process saying that they started working on my application on Feb 26th. The next day they asked for my Marriage Certificate which I submitted soon. Since then, I am waiting for my PPR desperately and checking my emails all the time.

Just a quick question, have CIC asked you for any additional documents after your MR?

Isn't your time as Work-Permit holder counting towards Citizenship anymore? I thought that the new rule applies to everyone getting PR after July 2015. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I was hoping to count 1 full year of PR after having 2 years + of Work Permit.

They must be working on your Security check. Don't worry you will get it before end of this month or latest by mid-April.

Isn't your time as Work-Permit holder counting towards Citizenship anymore? I thought that the new rule applies to everyone getting PR after July 2015. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I was hoping to count 1 full year of PR after having 2 years + of Work Permit.

For what I understood, it will apply to people who will apply Citizenship after June 2015. That's why many people I know who are eligible for citizenship hurried to their applications done.

That's also what I am hoping that my work permit stay will also count but it won't, sadly. You'll never know, the rules might change again in the next following years to our advantage.

Hi guys,
Here's my timeline :
applied on 28-apr-14
Rec'd 30-apr-14
AOR : 06-jun-14
Nothing happend since.
On the 21-Jan-15, I ordered GSMC notes. On the 24-Feb-15, I received the notes. The last note was created on 24-nov-14
It says :
-"Additional notes: Web based search conducted - Online information could not be verified. Employment appears to be located in residential neighborhood"
-"Police Certificates: - Morocco:Required
-"Recommendation : Review Required by officer"

1-I'm wondering if I can do anything about the first note. In the proof of employment, I've put our compagnie webiste (that has my name in the contact us page) and my boss's phone number.
2-Where can I send the police certificate.
3-Do you guys have any idea when my file will be reviewed.
