April 2014 Application

I have requested for new passport at Indian Consulate office. At a same time, I dropped a mail to CIC that once will get new passport then will update you. Otherwise, you can consider my current passport which is still valid for next 8/9 months.

But till now, there is no update in my ecas status still, it's "Application Received".

Good News -- My status changed from "Application Received" to "in-processing" on March 3rd.

Concerning news -- CIC asked for below *** Please Advise ***

Provide evidence that you have applied for an extension of your dependents' visitor records. -- My kids visitor status got expired on Feb 27th ran to border and got new ones on March 4th and planning to update the same. ** Am I screwed for 4 days of No illegal-Status **
Provide a copy of a new, valid passport of dependent --Should we renew even they are valid for another 8 months and send it or just send what we already have as US embassy DO NOT have appointments available for another 1 month and processing time is another 3 weeks.

As per my understanding, people are getting request from CIC to update their current permit status or valid passport status.

CanadaImmi2014 - Asking about your kids permit status and new passport - Application Received at CIC - 21-Apr-2014
Sjulien - Main applicant - passport expired - Application Received at CIC - 28-Apr-2014
mypr2014 - Son's valid passport - Application Received at CIC - 28-Apr-2014


I would suggest to update them on urgent basis with correct details.

You know yesterday night I wrote about passport stuff. Today morning, I got a response from CIC that "thanks for letting us know. will mentioned note and send us a copy of new passport once you will get it"

I have NOT paid RPRF fee....As my kids where in Canada with NO Status (ill-legal) for 4 days, I am so worried that my application would get rejected.Any suggestions....

Additionally my kids passport was valid for 8 months still they asked for New Passport copy...should I renew and submit or just submit what I have.

They asked me same thing because my passport will expire in Nov. However, I have applied for new passport and waiting for it.
