I have some questions about my application, I will appreciate that if someone can help me to answer these questions. I applied in the beginning of April, and got my AOR on the end of April.

1. I still did not get any information about my application, I am wondering that if they ask additional files, do they send the email to us or regular mail? Since I did not get any email from them after they received my documents, I am a little bit worried.

2. I applied with my husband, does the couple application take longer time to review?

Apply for GCMS to know what's happening to your application.

It seems there's no activity in April applicants. I've read in March applicants thread they got some updates over the holidays.

Guys, I just got my GCMS notes:

Eligibility: In Progress (Recommended Passed)
Criminality: In Progress
Security: Not Started
Medicals: In Progress

However, this is not up to date. My status changed on Dec, 24th and I ordered GCMS notes on Dec, 4th. I'm planning to apply again to see if something has changed.

I found that my previous medical examination is also included and marked as passed, but expired on february 2014. The new one is still in progress. This makes me feel more comfortable because I completed a set of tests to complement my X-Rays during my first medicals (work permit). Let's see how it goes from now.

i think we have same timeline almost
so we r still waiting for mr because slow processing of files by cec, as current AOR time is 120 days,this mean they are working very slow.

I don't know but still it just saying :"Application Received" on 15 April 2014. but my friends applied after two months of me and his file status says "Application in Process" my status never changed so what should I think here? they never put in process?

It doesn't matter whether it is "Application Received" or "in progress" without checking your GCMS note.
If you have received "Medical" that means you have completed at least eligibility criteria.

I would suggest you to apply for GCMS note and check your current progress.

I have got BOWP approved (24th Dec) but didn't received the hard copy yet. Just approval letter online.

Can i still apply for Visa based on approval letter? Thanks.

I check my application date and it is November 24. I hope I'll get as soon as possible as my current work Permit expires on Jan 23,2015. Hope for the best.
