Was your e-Cas website updated to show the test invite has been sent out?

I am not sure your question towards whom. I have received my test invite letter but my e-Cas haven't updated.

I am still waiting ..Applied in April 2014 and processing started in June 2014..No communication from them except receiving the Discover Canada booklet. Called the customer care and the same answer " The processing time is 24 months...." and that application has been sent to local office (Mississauga office)
It looks like a lot of people have been thru the same scenario.. :|

You are right. I am also waiting for my oath talking at local office Vancouver after the test. Here is my time line just to help you.


Application April 22, 2014.

started processing June 27, 2014.

Lucky you... I am still waiting for the test invited. I submitted my app in late April and got nothing other than the Discover Canada book...............

Have you called the call centre? That is a long time, although I have read other posts where people from early 2014 are waiting for test invite. Also, you may want to order ATIP as well to see where the file is

Does any one know that they update e-cas before oath or after oath? I am waiting for oath at Vancouver office after 19th FEBRUARY 2015 test.

I applied in April 25th. My file was transferred to Mississauga in Sep 24. I was sent a notice in Feb 10 to appear for the test on Feb 26. On Feb 23, citizenship called and cancelled my appointment. Still waiting for the new date.

A 289 number appeared. Probably since I live in Milton. I tried calling it again but it keeps ringing and then goes to a voicemail. A real voicemail though with a name.

Seems like all local offices are busy to issue deportation letters to temporary foreign workers that's why late to issue oath letters.

In B.C. the rule change for TFW has caused a backlog for immigration officials

I applied on 22nd April 2014 for citizenship & still waiting for my final oath. It is one year now for me being in process. My local office is Vancouver.
