First of All congratulation, When you send your ppt and when they rcvd ? because I send my ppt on 23rd and they rcvd on 24th but till now my tracking is not active.

Date of Application (Sydney, N.S); May 14, 2013
Now file is in Ottawa-Pilot
Medicals Requested: July 15, 2013
Medicals Done: August 19, 2013
"In progress" since September 30, 2013
RRF paid: October 15, 2013
Passport Request: Hopefully soon

Hi, Movado. I got my PPR on Jan 28... appreciate if you could kindly update my status.
Actually in my ready-for-visa letter, it didn't ask for my photo...I guess they would just use the one I took for the medical examination instead? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone who is still waiting for PPR could receive it soon!! (FYI my application has been "in process" since September 17.) All the best.

Wow..thank you so much, Ranbir4u! Just saw this sweet comment of yours. I actually did receive the PPR on Jan 28 around 8pm. (but I found out on Jan 29 in the morning).

sent passport on 22 jan to CPP OTTAWA. Got it back with visa stamped on 29 Jan

Well. My time line a bid confusing. I got passport request on Dec 05, 2013, but we booked vacation for Dec 15, so we decided to don't send passports as it was to close to our travel date. We were back on Jan 15, 2014 and send passport on Jan 16 they received it Jan 17 and then Jan 27 tracker was activated. So 10 days CPP had our passports. That's pretty quick. Some guys got passports back in 4-5 days.

I just got my Passport back from ottawa and was wondering if someone who recently did flag poling at the Niagara border could share his experience. I came across some posts but they are all a bit old so a fresh update will be much appreciated.

Also, I dont have a US visa. Is that go be a problem for flag poling.
