I sent mine off last Thursday and it got to Ottawa Monday this week. Just checked Xpresspost tracker and my return envelop is on its way back - got posted on the 29th.

So For me about 10 days from end to end.

I sent my passport off on 23-Jan-2014
Got to Ottawa on 27-Jan-2014
Return tracker activated 29-Jan-2014

I'll let you know when it turns up in my letter box.

just sent it out, 2 envelops cost me 37 dollars lol
the sweet mail man waited for me to finish writing the package and took mine as the last ones of the day ! yay! will keep you guys posted! thanks for the help!

ACTUALLY I USED TE PRIORITY ,MAIL LOL! DID COST ME LIKE 80N BUCKS AND MY PP GOT TEIR ON MONDAY TOO AND I AM WAITING FOR MY TRACKER TO ACTIVATE

did you send through canada post

They only accepted Canada Post if you want them to mail back in the prepaid return xpresspost. If you use other courier, they will mail back in the regular mail.

I put only return envelope, copy of the PPR email, and make a cover letter stating my personal information( Name, DOB, application number...)

PPR!!!!!!!!!!! first thing this morning when i opened my work email!!!!
they actually emailed me the request last night at 11:12 pm!!! wow!!!!!

Congrats my friend. Which province did you apply under? When did they start processing your file?

i do encourage everyone who has been waiting for a while since "in process" to email CIC.
at least it worked for me.
I emailed them yesterday afternoon, nicely asked if anything else was needed from my end, and concerned about my file status not moving forward and appreciated their hard work, and sure enough they emailed me PPR at 11:00 pm
i hope this works for you guys as well!!!!good luck !
i m hoping to send out my passport tomorrow, kinda nervous for the canada post service haha

I just sent a mail to ottPilot-immigration@cic . gc . ca asking about the status of my application. Lets see what they say.. Keeping my fingers crossed..

Are you under OPNP? I did my Medical on 25 Sept, 2013 and it is showing in Progress since Dec 23. Please let me know the update, if you hear back from them.
