hey Zhu!!!
good! have been busy with work. I am under PV 2, and says they received my RPRF (thank god!!!) eligibility , criminality and medical passed! nothing beside "security".
and they didnt assign me to anyone yet and no due date either =( =(

only difference from my last note which was a month before this one was they received my RPRF i think !

what are you emailing them for ? is my case normal that it hasnt been assigned????? :-X

When were they generated? and when did your file went to PV2 review? It should be under paper file history. There should be a name of the officer under PV2 Review. There are basically 3 steps under PV2 Review:

1. File is picked from registry and goes to PV2 review by Officer A. (The location of your file currently according to GCMS)
2. Officer A assigns that file to Officer B. the location changes to from PV2 Review to Officer B's location.
3. Officer B looks at the file and assigns a due date and keeps the file back to PV2 Review. (The location of my file currently)

Then when the due date pops up on their outlook, they just complete the final review and boom..PPR...

Hey in the history section did you see when or what date was your file transferred/registered to Ottawa ?

what does your ECAS status say about in progress ?

The date of my file in registry was sep 17,2013, and my ECAS status says in process on August 20,2013.

I am very happy to let you know, I received in November 20 my copr and proceeded to the border, so we landed the same day and now are insanely happy about our new PR status in Canada!

Good luck everybody and I wish you all the best and success in every way! :)

May be your VO is on holiday or somehow dismissed the notification in his outlook calendar. I would say: Order GCMS notes again and see if the decision has been made and email CPP-Ottawa or check they have extended your due date due to work overload.

Yes. I have applied for GCMS notes again today. Let's see. I have also emailed CPP Ottawa.
I feel the visa officer is not bound to follow the due date. Like you said, if the workload is too much he can easily ignore or shift the date for final review later.

Usually it takes a month to transfer your file to Ottawa from CIO (from the date its been 'in process') so I believe it got transfered and registered in Ottawa around 10th oct.

What?! The whole December off just for Xmas?! Redicous!! What they should do to compensate after the strike is at least continue working until 23rd of December! Holy cow!!!
