My first GCMS will be receiving on Oct18, which is next Friday.. but i applied this gcms on information act, then in early oct I applied gcms again under privacy act...so we will see! i might apply again in later oct, this waiting really irritates me!

oh and FYI, i asked the officer at the province for PNP, she said i could change employer with no problem, as long as its still with in the same province, she will just need a new form for employment filled out and handed to the province and also for CIC.

well it take 30 calender days to get a GCMS note, they mention this in the auto-reply email. I don't know if changing employer is a good idea when processing, honestly I suggest you wait, but again it deponed on ur new promotion, if ur new paid check is like as double as how much you get pay right now, go for it!!

I know. It's just a weird time line , if this new job came after I got my PR, it d be perfect . Yes pay is 1.5 times more. also more bonus . but I will think again :-) thanks buddy

Hello guys,

I wish to ask question and I would appreciate your feedback

I have obtained a BC PNP nomination through the inter-national graduate stream that doesn't require a job offer. I got my nomination during January 2013. Then, I submitted my application for PR to CIO sydney that will eventually transfer it to CPP-Ottawa.

My question is that: since I am was not asked to obtain any job offer to get my BC PNP nomination, is there chance that my application for get rejected because I am currently unemployed? I have been trying to secure a job, and I had few interviews. Few of them were not successful, and others would have required me to work outside BC, which I couldn't do so I don't lose my BC nomination.

As for my PR application process: I did my medical tests by June 2013. I was also asked to provide updated police clearance, and I did so during September 2013, then my ecas changed to ''in process''. I was also asked to pay RPRF, and was informed that my application had transferred to CPP-Ottawa. I did my payment of the RPRF online during October 2013.

I would really appreciate your feedback. Will my PR application get rejected because I am currently unemployed, even though I do not need a job offer to maintain my BC nomination?

Thanks,

No it wont get rejected based on economic basis.. if your status in process means you have passed the eligibility, now your security is being done and that's the last step

Hello Seniors,

Just had a quick query... While applying for the bridging open work permit does it matter what option is selected between Work with same employer or Work with new employer if the application is for Open work permit. Irrespective of the option selected, the work permit issued would be Open ? Also is there an issue if we select Work with new employer ?

I received AOR in Aug 2013 and am done with Medicals as well.

Please let me know thanks!
