As far as I know, you can move anywhere in Canada with your PR status with no issue. The problems will begin when you're applying for a citizenship. Most of us have signed a form, stating we're intended to live and work in Province, that nominated us. So it's better to follow this until you've got a Passport.

I'm sure that under some circumstances it's OK to move to another Province - if you lost your job and unable to find it for a few months for example, but, generally speaking, it's better to not play with a fire.

Ok.
Thanks for the heads up.

I do not have plan move to another province, however, I would like to change company ASAP

I hear you blackwine! My employer is exploiting me and my status to no end, he knows I have no choice but to say yes and do it. It's awful, I wish people in PNP programs had more protection from that.

agreed. i m waiting to get a promotion with another company but i m scared to take it before i get my PR

Thats why sometime I feel like CEC maybe a btter choice for me.

Do you have a source for that? Would be interesting. Sure, you have signed a form that you inted to live and work in the nomination province, but that doesn't mean that you can't change your mind later, no?

It's just a summary of what I read for the last 5 years all over the Internet :)

Changing an Employer is not an issue at all. I'm talking about relocation to another province only.

What abt changing province while ur file in process. I applied under quebec skill worker but left the province for work after my medical exam. Im planning to live in quebec eventually (all the family and friends are there). I also plan to land in quebec but leave right after (go back to my job), then i will look for a job in quebec and come back. Do u know any case like this?

yeah coz for skilled worker under PNP in my province, i can start applying right away as soon as i get a full time job offer, if its critical worker, have to work at least 6 months. but for CEC, one of my co-worker has to wait one full year. so i guess PNP worked out fine for me. just i hope i can get this new job offer and not to worry about CIC found out about employment change, my application is currently " in process" and i paid RPRF as well

I wish I would have done CEC, but at the time when I applied I didn't have enough work experience yet.

Movado - my eCAS changed to "IN PROCESS" - it says "We started processing your application on October 3, 2013." - Thanks in advance
