I was told today by a friend going through PR that your on line status is only updated once a week, on a Wednesday. Does anyone now if this is true as I check it every day.

Hello guys!

I have a very unusual question.

Currently i am in canada and my concern is that i have made some mistake while applying for pr. And they will catch it if they review my GCMS notes or caips. Notes.

But its very clearly given in an OP manual that they are to be reviewed 100% for a citizenship application but i cant find the same for pnp applicants or other pr applicants from outside canada.

Please share if any info on the subject!

Regards

James

hi all,
i have applied for PR under pnp catergory(MPNP), and i sent my file to CIO Nova scotia..
my timelines are as follow:

File recieved at visa office: march 28, 2013
aor: may 22, 2013
mr: may 23, 2013
medical done: may 31, 2013
medical sent by doctor as efile june 7,2013

but my ecas still shows only - file recieved march 28........any suggestions,,,should i contact them? as other people i have seen get their ecas status as medical recieved in about 10 days..

Hi! You could probably email your visa office informing them that you're done with your medical exams. You could send a copy of your receipt (you can scan it and attach to your email) and tell them the exact dates when you had the exam and when the doctor sent the file . Make it a friendly reminder that you have complied with the med request.

I hope this helps. Goodluck!

Hi Movado,

I just happened to check my status in ecas today and it says "Medicals Received." It doesn't mention the date. But I think 30th of June is a safe assumption.

Hi All,

I'm back from a vacation and have updated everything.

Congrats to our leaders! :)

My status was updated to "medicals received" on 21 June 2013. After that no change in status.
Should i be expecting an email for RPRF request?

Hi movado

Pls update my timeline got MR & RPRF july 22...thanks

Done.

I'm wondering when the rest of visa offices will awake....

guys,
how much is the RFPF? i heard it became lesser than 490?
is the rate for pesos dependent on the exchange rate for the day?
thanks
