Hi Veterans!

After deep considerations, I deem it necessary to share with this great forum an issue of concern that i have been grappling with. My wife that happens to be the Principal applicant is in the last trimester of her pregnant and we will receive our request for medicals from Accra VO very soon. Often, i ve heard pregnant women are not allowed to undergo X-ray (as the rays might harm the baby) which is an integral part of the whole medical process. If so, how does this affect our application process with respect to the Medical Request and moreso, what advice would you give to us to achieve the most desirable results.

Note: THIS IS TO EVERYONE AND AUTHORITATIVE AND RELIABLE REFERENCES CAN BE CITED.

Thank you all. Your contributions would be treasured
Interesting question! I heard some people said pregnant women still can go medical exam, except the X-ray, the cic will request the x-ray after the baby born. (need to fill to the forms to indicate the due day at first time of medical exam). and then, request baby medical exam (very easy), birth certificate, and baby passport as well. Definitely, the process timeline will be delay a little bit.
That's what I heard from somebody. Any one know more details, please share with us. It should be helpful .

Sklin. I am grateful for the contribution. I heard one can also you a protective shield while the X-ray is been taken, in other to douse thee effect of the rays. How true is this or has anyone done this before. Your answer would be greately appreciated.

Just check in the link below a CIC form for deferment of X-ray test for pregnant women (redundant! ;))

I remember that you could tell CIC this situation and it seems that they would delay the time to submit ME for you.
