Congrats ! When was your application "in process" ?
I remember us having similar timeline . I received my notes that I ordered Christmas Eve, still haven't been assigned to an officer yet . In process since "sep 10"
My work visa expires in July :-( i m going out of canada for a week in March , would I have any problem coming back if I haven't received my PR by March ???

Hi! It turned to "in process" on Oct. 23 so you shld be way ahead of me.

Maybe it would be more prudent for you to wait for your PR before you leave. Anyway, March is still more than a month away. Let's hope you get it before then.

But this is just my opinion. The more senior and knowledgeable ones in the forum should answer your question ;D

Goodluck!

Thanks for the information regarding spouse ppr arif. It helps us a lot

Congrats 'MB1234' - so how are you going to handle it since you are outside Canada - please share your experience so that others can benefit from it.

BTW i wonder why it took so long to get RPRF request after going to IN PROCESS - although your went into IN PROCESS a month ahead of me, we got RPRF around the same time - after all these CIC folks are highly unpredictable.

CONGRATS again.

Hello

So I sent an email to CPP-Ottawa yesterday asking for status update on my case they sent me this.

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for your message concerning your application for permanent residence.

Your file is in Ottawa for processing and will be reviewed by one of our officers.

Medical results:
We have received your medical results.

Case status:
An officer will be in contact with you in due course. In the meantime, we would ask for your patience and for you not to send follow-up requests for status to our office.

How long will it take to process my application?

[Rec'd after January 1st 2013] Processing times vary. You can consult the Processing times: Permanent Residence — Economic classes <http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-ec.asp> webpage on the CIC website <http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index-can.asp> . Please note that given the high volume of inquiries submitted to this office and Canadian visa offices abroad, status updates on cases are not normally provided unless the processing time for a file is longer than the service standards outlined on the CIC website.

April 2013 PNP tracking

I finally got ppr
Application 4/4/13
I have one question for recents ppr fellows, I not asked to submit photographs but my roommate got ppr a month ago and he was asked for it.

Just got an email asking for passport, which I'll be sending off today.

The question, like so many at this point (and I know time lines are different) how long from PPR to PR?

vow

its raining ppr

congrats to all.
