Hello everyone!

I'm happy to announce that I just received my CoPR in the mail today!

5 days since the "Decision Made" update on ecas.

Thank you, thank you, everyone for your valuable input and most of all, the support through this!!!

Congratulations!!! Did you receive the COPR in the mail as in the post? Also wondering did you receive any email too? like the "ready for visa" email I have heard people talk about? I am also from a visa exempt country so I know we shouldn't get a passport request but I'm not sure if we get the ready for visa email too?

To answer your question, no. I haven't received any emails from them. So basically, what happened was, I saw that my ecas was updated on Sunday, 2/16 to "Decision Made" saying that they have sent me the result in the mail.

I received their letter on Friday, 2/21 which was the CoPR.

For my landing, I'm not going to do it until the end of April. I think it said that it was valid until 2/16/2015.

I'm going to the states and will be doing the landing on my way back.

Do you think this is ok? If anyone else has any thoughts on my landing plan, please tell me what you think. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

I have a query for the guys who already completed the landing.

I want to go to Buffalo for shopping.
1. Should I go there first and stay more than 24 hours to qualify for duty free shopping and then landing?

or

2. I should cross border come back immediately for landing and after landing go back to USA and stay there for more than 24 hours

In second case can USA official ask question why am I entering in USA second time in a couple of hours

Suggestions please.

No, options #2 is not impossible. You can use the CoPR after completing the landing to re-enter Canada
at land crossings. Only land crossings tho, you can't fly back into Canada, but you can drive your car.

For some work I was in Winnipeg so had to get my landing done over here.
My experience was so good. This border is not so busy so didn't took much time. Since all the things were into place so I was not worried. When the lady said that inform your employer that you dont need work permit anymore I was so excited and happy. Dont for get to take your workpermit with you as they ask for it and also when they would be cancelling the stamp on passport they would ask your work permit to shredd it off.

I'm still waiting for PPR.
I have received MR very early in October 10, 2013 that I thougt the processing of my application was very fast but the decision seemed to be very slow. I can't hardly wait. Wait is frustrating.

Medical Recieived : Nov. 25, 2013
RPRF/Biodata: January 15, 2014
Ecas status : medical recieved
PPR : waiting

I sent a reply to "RPRF Payment Request" email with my changed family conditions, changed mailing address & updated BIODATA form. Usually I get an automated email everytime I send email or reply to CPC. But this time I didnt receive the automated email when I replied to CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with all the information I mentioned above. Please advise what can be done.
