Has anyone from April 2013 applicants received RCMP/Fingerprints request? I have not provided my dependents RCMP clearance to CIC.. would that be ok? I have provided mine as i am the major applicant. pls advice

I have seen the request in on GCMS Notes , But nothing official from CIC yet.
Did you get any offcial e-amil from CIC for RCMP ?

I have seen some march applicants getting rcmp requests. Wondering if my dependent would get one soon.

Finally the strike is over, hopefully things will move fast now on. Is this a general protocol, does everybody get RCMP request?

I will suggest don't do anything before CIC asked to do so ( This is my personal advise and may differ with other's opinion).
RCMP just takes a week so you can wait untill CIC asks.

Got my medical request today

Its a nervous feeling from the time you see the email till you open the attached document.
The email itself does not say anything specific.

My wife and I got our medical requests today! Our CEC apps were received by the intake office on April 8th 2013. We got our AOR on May 21st. Based on your experience, how long after submitting the medicals should we expect to have a decision made on our PR status? Would the background checks have been done already or do they usually do them after the medicals? Good luck to everyone, this forum has been such a great help to us!

but then again, cheekoo had "in process" status already. wonder if genghis7 too.

CS2012 got MR yesterday, his status was 'app received'
ndc2013 got MR on October 4th, his too was app received

take a look on the feb spreedsheet, the 'in process' status don't mean nothing and this is proof!

Still Sep 2012 applicants are receiving MR. But April 2013 applicants have started to receive. Surprising how do they process or prioritise the applications! Any thoughts?!
