I don't think you can contact them directly. If you call the CIC call center, the agent may be able to access your file through your UCI.

The one that you can find on the website: 1-888-242‑2100. But they say it's for within Canada only - worth a try though.

I submitted my application on April 16, 2013. In June 2 afternoon, there was still nothing about my application on CIC website. However, in the next day June 3 morning, my information was suddenly pop up on CIC website which said my application has been received. But, I still didn't receive the AOR email from CIO. I am so worried. I have sent email to both CIO-Sydney and CPP-Ottawa on Monday but got no reply.... What should I do now?

Did anybody have the same problem before? Will CIO post the information online firstly and then send the email to applicant? Thanks...

Hi - This is not a usual pattern , Mostly they sent AOR first and then u can see the staus online after few days.
They might sent u at wrong email ID or soemthing like this.........Just a wild guess.

But If you can see the status online , Its a good symbol , You may write to Visa office you have selected and they can confirm this again.

I think it's unusual too. Some suggestions:
- Was it your current CEC application that shows that it was received? not any other past applications?
- Maybe you wrote your email wrong and AOR couldn't be sent (therefore maybe will be snail-mailed to you?)
- Maybe they sent it to the wrong email address? or they couldn't read well your email address?

But yeah, always good to check with them. They get lots of emails all the time, so you just need to be patient. They might not respond to you because you don't have the information sent in the AOR email for reference =/
