Hello Everyone,

I got a RCMP request today for me and my wife but i have a concern about this if someone please help me i really thank you the reason is that i dont know where may we get the fingerprints here in our country? because we apply for the canadian experience class outside of Canada so we dont know where to take them? .....

From which country you are?

Check here first - they might be able to do it, or at least tell you where -

If you get your prints done on a card, but want to speed up the process by submit the application electronically to the RCMP, there are services that can do that -

hello jes_on,

I will check it because i was cheking on the website RCMP and its really long wait to get the RCMP for myselft and i am thinking to get the RCMP by a third party is really fast just 3-5 days to get it

thanks a lot

Hello Flywith2010,

This morning I got the request RCMP for me and my wife with 2 diferents emails!!!!

I think that you should have 2 emails for your and other for your wife.

Thanks for reply.

In that case it seems they have requested only for myself. Not for my wife.
Last month when I saw my GCMS notes , I also saw that figerprints required statement was there. But it was only under my name.

First I thought that I should go ahead and do upfront , Then I decide not to do so untill I will get any request from CIC.

Thanks

I am an JUNE 2013 APPLICANT got RCMP request today.I want to know how much time it will take to get medical request.
Getting RCMP means eligibility is passed ?
Please help

This is quite fast from CIC. It means they are looking into the June applications now.......

rcmp request does not mean eligibility passed,in fact you are june applicant and 99% your eligibility has not started yet.
they send rcmp fingerprint requests when names match and appear in their database thats it.

Mohd00 - RCMP is just like a PCC , allthough this is not mandetory with original application but CIC may ask if they feel so.
This request dosen't say that eligibility is passed. This is just a part of securty check.

I ordered my GCMS notes in Nov and i saw a note there that RCMP is required.

hi flywith2010,

just to correct you there,RCMP fingerprint request is part of the criminality check not security.
also you should note that the rcmp fingerprint is requested not when CIC feel so like you mentioned but when they find a name match on their database so the only way to make sure you have no criminal offences in canada is by fingerprints.
not everyone will get the rcmp fingerprint request hence doing it upfront is not a smart idea and will not speed up the process but if you ordered GCMS notes and see it there you can go ahead and do it before the VO request it.

Hi canadavisa13,

CIC has received my application on 1st of March, but so far i havent heard anything from them yet? I applied inside from Canada.. Is it normal that it will get delay for the people who applied from Canada. Do you think my eligibility evaluation has been passed. And what is RCMP and why we do that?
