Yes, it's 2012 not 2013, thanks for the correction. I just knew the GCMS notes and still learning how to order it. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm confused why others received their MR already after three or four months of their application. I hope ours will come soon.

Thanks for sharing your timeline, too. Waiting is really the hardest part. Patience is a virtue.

Not yet Paul!! Spoke to CIC couple of times. They will process it on August 26th and then mail the card.
so, hopefully I may get it between 28th to 30th.Keeping my fingers crossed

I was planning to travel abroad in between, but I had to give up my plan since I cannot return to Canada on time
Let us hope for the best of everything

I have received my PR card exactly after 69 days of processing time and 2 days of Postal delivery.

And I have traveled outside Canada(Not US) without PR card and came back to Canada just with the copy of my COPR. It was an emergency!
I took the rental car from Canada and drove to Buffalo, Parked my car in Buffalo Parking and flew from Buffalo to the other country.
When I came back, I crossed the Canadian border in the same rental car.
The CBSA officer asked me the following questions
where did you go, why did you go and Have you bought anything from US?
When did you land in Canada, so you have not got the PR card yet? I said the day of my landing and Yes for the PR card.

Congrats Join, I could be getting mine in mid Sept. in your 69 days scenario ...
When I landed in Peach Arch the CBSA officer told me the same thing that any emergency I can only travel via vehicle to the closest airport (which is Bellingham) in US & return as well ...

I need to show COPR with passport when entering Canada and the explanation of whys ...

This would be my last update in this post I supposed ...
Yahoo ... I'm now officially a Canadian Permanent Resident now ...

Finally received CoPR end of last week after almost month and half of communicating & waiting from CPP-OTTAWA ...
Did flagpole yesterday in Peach Arch (Seattle/BC Border) ...

Officers were very nice to greet us and the whole process took about 20 minutes (including waiting time) ...
Now the last thing to do will be to update SIN in Service Canada ...

Just wanted to say to PAULPAYA, I read your posts and you have been trying for PR for almost 7 years.
That needs a lot of patience and I am happy that finally you are a Canadian PR.
