Yes, I am done w Medical and sent on Feb 14, 2012. they also asked me about the eye color and heigh too. I dun hve a spouse or dependent aboard. still waiting patiently...

Hi Strongflag,

I have received the same email from CPP Ottawa on monday and I am totally puzzled over this. I have completed my medicals way back in October 2012 and I am still waiting for the PPR. My spouse had the medicals done from abroad and I did my medicals from within Canada.
Looks like they are going over our medicals and other security checks. Is your case similar to mine , having a spouse or a dependent abroad?
And along with the email, they have asked for the biodata as well, "eye color and height" for all the applicants.

I have a critical question. When you get a landing VISA, does the immigration office cancel your previous visa ?

I have a valid visa till 2015 and expect to get the landing VISA soon. I know that I need the PR card to enter Canada again but sometimes it takes about 2 or 3 weeks. What should happen if I traveled before that date? Can I use my temporary visa on the passport?

Guys I have one question, I am going to apply under CEC with work experience from September 2010 - August 2011. I have t4 and NOA for that but as I was on open work permit, I took two jobs at that time and my NOA not only shows the skilled work experience but the non-skilled work experience (part-time) as well. Will it create any problem? Should I include the paystubs or t4 for the other work in the application? Please reply guys

They do cancel any other entry visa that you already have in your passport... When you do landing they explain to you that you cannot enter to canada with your CoPR paper ....
