Hi All,

I have two questions about the medical exam. I wanna do it before they request it because I'm planning to have a vacation outside my city.

1- Who should do the medical exam? myself and my wife only or my kid (5 years old) should do it too ?
2- What is gonna happen in the exam? I guess a doctor check up, X-ray, and blood test. Any thing else?

Yes, every accompanying family members should go through medical checks.

Just wanna make a quick update here as well ...
I just received medical request through email & need to be done within 60 days ...

I double checked my Ecase to see any update though it's still showing application received ...
However, this will not bother me for now ...

I feel I am the happiest man today ...
Really sorry to hear those just got refused recently but hope the very bests to come in near future for all of you ...

Any more updates?!

Im slightly mad how the MD at the clinic said they will send my meds within 10 bussiness days, but in fact sent it 3 weeks later. :-( The tracking says they rec'd it on the 15th. Ecas still not updated. It was 60 days on the 23rd. Is this going to delay the process now? *Sigh* This is what I get for not noticing the MR sitting in my email for almost a month

Another question for those who made the medical already,

Should I send the medical to the pilot Ottawa office or CIC Sydny main office ?

Its better to wait for CIC to send out forms for the Medicals. They send in forms with our pics attached.
General checkup for entire family including kids.
Blood test, urine test and x-ray only for adults.

The doctor's office will send the forms directly to CIC. CIC forms will have instructions to the Doctor's office

hey don't worry i got my MR last week and my ECAS still show application received, it take few day for them to update ECAS

Today I received a request from CIC to submit POLICE CLEARANCE for South Africa ..... It would be great if anyone here can share some info on getting South African PC....
I also received the Medical Request....
