I am still really worried since i never received an AOR (On Ecas) it just shows application received 23rd of April thats it.

I contacted the call center and they never have concrete answers. They keep giving me the email address for CPP-Ottawa. Emailing CPP-Ottawa is a waste of time since they keep copy pasting the same answer that due to the buffalo office closign down they are working alot. Thats all fine and dandy but almost everyone that I know who applied in April got their AORS by july. Mine is now in September and no AOR. I am going around in circles since no one has any answers as to where my documents are. If they lost my documents I really dont want to give Ielts again and pay another 550 dollars.

This is immigration! Even if your application is perfect, flawless, it can still go through unexpected delays and holds. It's a black box, really. And, while CIC doesn't owe us anything, I think it can do a lot more to be transparent, especially considering the high processing fees, and the ancillary charges related to immigration. On the other hand, I'm sure they're inundated with applications. It's probably tough for both sides. Perhaps in 20 years, it'll be more open and...faster.

I'm a march application, and while I have an AOR, no medicals. So, i waited three months for an AOR, now more than three months and counting for a medical, and then who knows. I'll probably lose my hair and have a heart attack from must the stress.

Try to relax...I know that's kind of lame but...not much else you can do.

Yes, I got my AOR in a week from Sydney CIO and waiting since then for medical request... My original application was directed to Buffalo.
