Thanks SJBYY529!
That's really interesting to know!!
do you know how is VO 122?!
thanks

Sorry Not Sure about this VO 122. If you received AOR from VO 122, most likely you will receive MR from another VO.

Hi SJBYY529

I am Chinese too, so can you send me the yorkbbs web site link for CEC board i have no idea they have a board for this.

Thanks

Hi toronto1977, just curious to know where can we see which NOC codes skills are in demand? under CEC/FSW?
pls share.

thanks
gg

gg08, Just before temporarily shutting down FSW there was a list of 29 occupations you could apply under... That 29 occpn list had a Social Worker(Venven's) category in it.... Also many provinces also publish skills that are high in demand.... I was wondering if this has something to do with the order of our file processing times.... Also googling reveals some studies of skills that are in shortage in Canada..... Basically I am just trying to figure out some formula if there is any...

hi guys

i have one question regarding the PR, i am currently working under my 3 year work permit which is going to exp. next year April. i don't think i will get my PR by that time so which state during our CEC process i can work again.
the process should be Application Submitted to AOR Received to Medical Request to PPR Request Landed.
btw PPR is mean passport request right?

I don't think you can work at any state of the process, once you the have landed status then yes you can. Try to get an extension atleast for one year and see. PPR is passport request.

thanks GSIn

that's what i think as well. oh well i guess i need to get a work permit from my company which i don't think i will get it
ok than another difficult question is when do you think we can get our PR i guess end of next year... what's everybody thought?

So far as per the forum for January applicants (lucky ones) it took 7-8 months, there might be other people who still haven't got it (I'm guessing). And from February onwards looks like the flow is dead slow who recieved their medicals last month and waiting for the passposrt request which might take 2-3 months or could be quicker. But the CIC website states 14 months processing time for CEC applicants and taking all these criteria into account it could be less than an year (if you are the lucky one) or could be more. Sorry, I'm afraid I couldn't clear more than this.

Hope to hear some good news in October..

Best of luck to every april applicants..

just to bring some smiles on our faces... :P ;)

Believe this, MEN WILL ALWAYS BE MEN.

Once a group of monks went on a tritha yatra to the scared Himalayas. The guide told them there was just one instruction for the nimble, enlightened souls, "Dont get distracted if you see a beautiful girl up the mountain path. Just close your eyes and say Hari Om". Next day as the monks were going through a pass, one of them said : "Hari Om" And everyone's reaction was "Kidhar Hai?".

I'm hopeful to see many med requests this October for April applicants. Keep praying.
