I am the Applicant but my wife is the sponsor and both of us outside canad and she is beside me Now

hmmmm....it is my understanding that you cannot call from outside Canada...is there someone in Canada who can set up a three way call for you....or is your wife returning to Canada soon???

You can try this http://www.dellvoice.ca/ if you have a Canadian address you can register, it has a computer application as well as a mobile app, my wife was able to call CIC from Mexico, not sure if it'll work in Cairo but worth a try.

yes my wife brother is in Canada he tried to call them but he said it Always busy only the answer machine responding, no Agent.

so now he is trying to call them

It's hard to get through, I've had to dial 10 times in a row to skip all the talk just press 1-2-0

wargo, it's possible that an approval was sent by mail instead of email. But the only way to find out for sure is to call CIC.. it's worth trying out tsjunx's suggestion.

If I had a way to do conference calls, I'd make it my daytime job to help out all you outside Canada who need to call CIC. Hmmm.. I'm gunna ask my hubby about that. He uses conference calls for his home business

Congrats Sweden and FS!

Every time I've called CIC, I've had to call 20+ times before I get through. It's so frustrating! I'd rather be put on hold for over an hour than have to call a thousand times.

Thaaaaaaaaaaank you soooo much Sunshine for your concern I will be waiting I have no other choice than waiting.. yes it is very hard to wait but i will try to wait...wait and wait.
I don't know how long it takes to mail to reach us from Canada we are in SUDAN.
