seems that the best case if the UCI you get when you have AOR or if you have become a PR in the past.

i only have my financial receipt but it doesn't work and most people say that it never works.

dkera is right.....financial receipt does not work you have to wait for UCI# and/or Application#; if you have had a past file you can use your previous UCI# to see if anything has been posted otherwise you will have to wait....

Maybe they have opened all the first 10 days at the same time, and next monday everybody will get their approval at the same time! then Sunshine will have a lot of work in updating the spreadsheet... at least that's what I'm hoping for!

The coming week is the week of action for us 10th of april bunch and there are a few of us. Bring it on CIC

A new week is upon us, Aprilicants! Who will it be this week? Me? You? Them? Let's hope for all the above. The visa officers should be well rested and ready to get down to business...the coffee is fresh (though no one ever bothers to make it!), the donuts are ready...they have all they need...now give us what we need!!! There definitely should be quite a bit of movement this week. It seems like Ottawa is processing our apps (at least my approval was from Ottawa) and we know how quick they are

I think its the first time I am getting really nervous. So close to the average waiting time for stage 1 approval. Specially on a Sunday away from work and distraction. Almost 3 months now without any signs from CIC. At least the spreadsheet is starting to take on color. Let it be the week for all who applied between March 3rd and 13th.

yes it is quite difficult to stay calm.....but on positive side it is our week and i am pretty sure we all gonna get thru stage 1 this week
