mate it ll definitely delay ur process if u change the address n if u r moving then u have to change the mailing address bcoz all ur mails n req. like ppr n if addition doc req. tht req n ur pp after visa will cm to ur mailing address if ur sure tht it wud b in safe hands n will reach to u safely even if ur not at tht address then u can avoide it but better is to change bcoz this is v important thing n 1 missing doc can effect ur case n things like pp is v important.......so better to change it if u move

I have a question, I hope someone can be able to help me. My husband is sponsoring me, he is in Canada and I am in Cape Town. Will it affect my correspondence, with my VO if they start sending me letters or anything, if i decide to move from where I am staying right now to somewhere else, (but still living in cape town) that will mean I change my postal address.. I would not want to delay my application process or result in mail being lost. But they do send everything on email as well hey...

BY THE WAY, any April 2011 Singapore applicants here? Have you heard anything from CIC-M/Singapore VO? I assume ya'll have been approved to become a sponsor, and waiting for to hear their decision on your spouse's application to become a PR?

you have been really helpful,I really would not want to delay my process, I still have like 3 months to decide , hopefully by then my process will be close to the end, wishful thinking I know but a girl can only wish.

I got an update here:

today, finally, I got my passport back....
visadate in the passport is the 30th of june and apparently took 2 weeks to reach my house.

Congratulations, omegazeroday!! My father is from Hanover, originally. What a different process these days compared to 1956.... Welcome to Canada!

Welcome! What's NS - Mississauga? Did you get a decision on the sponsor at some point? If you haven't heard a word and you're applying inland I would definitely put a call in to the call centre at the very least. Have you looked up your status online?
