Congrats from me as well! I'm still here, Uccemebug. Buffalo received my police clearance from France on October 12th so I'm just waiting. My interview was waived and medical results have been received so hopefully I'll hear something soon!

Ah, what can I say. Canada should be able to do better fer Pete's sake.

I found your previous update pretty funny, too.

Yaaaay! Noted in the spreadsheet.

So, my app was received on the 13th and no one has even looked at it, yet trungngan already has passport request and his app was received on the 27th. This office is fishy they are all over the place nothing is consistant. My second CAIP notes looked exactly like my first one, ie nothing was done. Meds have not even been looked at yet even though it is already assessed.

It really does seem like a crap-shoot. Someone on the forum who'd gone through the Tokyo visa office told me that after submitting the passport they waited six weeks for it to be turned around. Aside from Canada Post &$^## losing the passport, it looks to me like the Tokyo VO turned around our passport the day they received it!

Well, I just sent the general inquiry an e-mail with a status update request and mentioned there was at least 2 people who got their visa request already and they were behind me.

Hi Dragoon
I know one case from vietditru, her file got to Singapore May 27 (same as mine) and she got PPR on Oct 1 . She's from Ben Tre (I think)

Thanks Uccemebug, It came faster than I thought it would because I had prepared myself for an 11 month wait.

I think the Singapore visa is very prejudice against relationships that are not over 2 years. On November 7, 2011, (same day I sent the e-mail) they mailed my wife our phone logs, chat and some other proof of documents back to and say that we are on the interview list. This is very unprofessional and clearly unacceptable. Why should I have to wait 2 years for an interview due to their incompetence or not willing or unable to distinguish a genuine relationship?

I am currently in Vietnam with my wife, once I return I will order CAIP notes again to see why they have requested an interview.

Sorry to hear about the set-back, Dragoon. By waiting for two years for the interview do you mean that they've set an interview date for 2013!
