Hi All,

I have tried to check my application online today via CIC website and finally i found my name and a massage saying that my apllication was recieved on 16 April. it seems that they really update the application status every tuesday.

I see it is another positive sign.

i dont have a bank account for POF but i have a market stocks shares with this value .. can i get a POF from the broker company i deal with ????

Hi Meena,

Unfortunately, market shares are not considered as POF because it is dependent on the current market value. What you see today as x$, may not be so after couple of days. But you can encash it to liquid funds and add it to you POF.

76 DAYS GONE YET I DID NOT GET ANY RESPONSE. After seeing one thing one applicant got returned application NOC: 3112 AND MANY MORE. How woeful this condition!! I didn't express this conditon. PLS PRAY FOR ALL. No one would be disheartened. I applied 20th april - 2010. Probably application received 29 or 30 th April. Pls add me in this list

Do you know if your application has been received at CIO?
Did you have a tracking number when you mailed your application?
What is the NOC code under which you applied?

Welcome... I will add you to the list. What is your NOC code?

The list is updated as and when there is some information regarding the outcome of the applications which can be : Application recd at CIO, receipt of AOR, CC charged, docs sent to CIO or application returned. You have to keep checking the progress on this thread regularly to see the "updates".
