I have Total 4 year of exp out last 6 year but when I have 2 year GAp in between as , I went to UK on HSMP and did not get for 2 years ,I mean 2 year employement gap

But I came back to India and got a Job now , I want to apply for canada PR on 0213

Now the qus is , ll they count my past 6-2 = 4 year exp to award point

Or I have to work for continiously 4 year again to gain point for exp to apply for CANADA

Hi,

You will count as a 4 years experience and for canada you need only 1 yr full time experience in last 10 yrs.

If DD is encashed or CC is charged its highly likely that you will receive AOR in next 10 -15 days.

Hi,

Wait for CIC to response for you 1st AOR and then send you IELTS result with your full documents in 2nd stage. But make sure you get the required result in IELTS to achieve your 67 points.

Can anyone tell me how to check whether DD is cashed or not?

I got a DD from local bank and they charged me on the spot for the DD. I sent the DD along with my application.

When I contacted the local bank they said its not possible to check whether DD is cashed or not. They told me that I've to check this with my DD beneficiary (Receiver General for Canada) which is impossible.

I wonder how you people are getting the update whether DD is cashed or not.

I am facing the same problem as my account was charged immediately... the bank can not tell me if the certified check was cashed or not.. I think we just have to wait for the reply from CIO :

Hi Aran & Sapana,

"The only way u do this is through your bank where you purchase the draft (money order/certified cheque). Bank will check whether draft is en-cashed or still outstanding by weekly report, so that's why i was calling them to check it for me every Monday. Besides to that you can request a copy of the draft (front and back) with the dated bank stamp of 'The Receiver General for Canada' on the back of it (I found in my copy, they have an acct with CIBC in Halifax ).

I've checked my credit card account online this morning and CIC, Sydney has charged it with the fees so I believe there should be an AOR on the way.
