I did my meds in march and im waiting

Hi,

Well I got medical request on feb 6th 2012 with updated FBI PCC to be submit with in 90 days and had done my medical on march 4th 2012 an got my FBI PCC on march 24th and submitted it same day and waited.

Luckily I got passport request on 8th may 2012 from Buffalo Visa office. I got my visa stamped in person from buffalo visa office.

I just wrote because even i think it's weird type of process because lot of people with same time line as mine are still waiting and it's frustrating for all of those people.

I hearty hope that all people waiting will good news. FINGER CROSSED for all people out their.

Let me know if you seek any information out of me.

Hey.

Yes I am in Canada Edmonton AB. Well I have my family already here and was in USA for last five year.

yes first thing I would suggest you should have enough funds to survive.

You should first try to get basic necessities for settlement. i.e. (at-least $12000) these will help you better and will make you survival easy in any case for a year. (hopefully you will find job within two to three months)

Driver's License (public transportation is good but having your own car is a great freedom as it helps in different ways as extreme weather condition to cold and also give you freedom in choosing job, and many other benefits of having own car. Car's are available easily can be financed or bought in case but yes in little bit expensive then USA)

Place to live. (shared or rent your own)

Deep research of you job of you field.

Canada offers you many opportunities itself but as per my view Choosing province to live depends of nature of work your intend or your field of expertise.

I didn't face lot of problems because it helps having own family here)

let me know if you seek any particular information

Many thanks for your kind answer and valuable information. Frankly speaking...i am taking it all one day at a time thing........i am not even building high hopes till i see the visa in hand though i am praying after new year i will get my passport request for stamping the visa.

Meanwhile all i am doing is saving money as much as i can.

How much does it cost to have a small car in Canada? Will they let me buy a car if i dont have a canadian driving license? i only hold a Saudi Arabia driving license

Well you can buy a small car from any thing between $3000 to $ 5000. and apart from that if you hold a international license permit from you country you will able to drive a car for 6 months but between you have to apply for Canadian driver licenses.

dont think you can have a car under your name without a Canadian Drivers License
you need to have a Valid Insurance and insurance depends on your Drivers abstract and the International DL just cerifies that you are able to drive in your home country and its valid for short stays
