Hi all senior forum members here,

I received my CAIPS report today but no activity is mentioned in the caips report. Its only says,

PAPER FILE SENT TO PA FILE BF'D TO: FRR ON 18-09-2011

It also mentions

FILE READY FOR REVIEW

but I understand no action has been done on my file.

Can you please suggest if any action has taken place on my file or when any action is going to take place. I am yet to receive the MR though the RPRF is received by NDVO and this is mentioned in the CAIPS Notes.

What does it show

address appears again with no changes
Status in process with RBVO details

same here address appears again today without any change
status in process with RBVO details...
anyone having any idea about this hide and seek game

address appeared...........

This address disappear and reappear has become a Russian roulette, just playing with lives of so many applicants. First of all so many applications should not have been accepted. they should have put a stop once they had reached the capacity of processing for two years, what was the need for MI 2 and MI 3 when the initial backlog was not finished.

Keeping our lives on hold and looking at Ecas is all we do now, we are not able to take any major decision of life here and we do not know when we would reach there --If at all.

I do not want to sound pessimistic but this does comes to mind when one keeps on waiting endlessly.

First they delay the applications and keep people's money as fees and earn interest on the same then they have the business of earning money from CAIPS notes.

The least they can do is to mention on each applicants status on ECAS as to the exact timelines when the decision would be taken on their file.

What one can see on the CAIPS notes can easily be displayed as a routine table on individual ECAS.

i believe during recent status change and address appearance/disappearance, NDVO might have moved BFD of our applications further(because of huge backlog, that they can't handle), causing more delay...

however, for ur information my status changed to inprocess with rbvo detail + address disappearance on 1 nov and address reappeared on 9 nov (approx., i am not sure of exact date)

What I understand from the excel sheet in last 12 months till 30 June 2011 following MI-1 case were processed
Total cases Processed = 22,839
Total Cases Passed = 12,229
Total Case Refused = 10,610

if we see the above figures this means that all applications will take another 2 to 3 years to processed so they might finish all MI-1 cases by 2014

Please correct me if I am wrong !

100% CORRECT.........
