Dear friends in april applicants furom

I am june applicant and my money order has been encashed on first day of september. I am still worried about rejection of my app. I heard two cases in your furom have been rejected after encashment. Could you tell me what was the reason of rejection in those caces? what is the probablity of rejection in my case?

RPRF Fee-

I know that it is optional to send out the RPRF fee with the full documents to the visa office. I was leaning towards sending it now, because a few members have suggested that it might cut down a month of processing time. (The time for the request to be sent to us and draft to reach them back).

I know the RPRF for 2 people would be CAD980.
It is mentioned that I can make a payment in Rupees i.e Rs.21440*2= Rs.42880.

In case I send out the RPRF fees now,

My questions are-

1. Is the amount that I have mentioned Rs.42880 correct?

2. The demand draft should be in favour of "Canadian High Commission" payable at New Delhi, is that correct?

3. Should I write anything at the back of the draft- name, file number etc?

4. won't the demand draft validity run out during the processing period. (which is typically around 6 months).

If someone can clarify all the above 4 points, i would really appreciate it.

3. I do not have any information but I guess you could write your Client ID. I am sure you will also mention the DD # in your cover letter.
4. If the validity time of the draft is over by the time they process then unfortunately you will be requested to send another one.

It is entirely your decision to send the RPRF fees along with your full documents. Hopefully you gain a month of processing time.

To the best of my understanding,
PCC is one of the documents VO requests at the time of initial application complete documents so yes, before sending documents to visa office.
No..non accompanying wife means the same as no wife in terms of points (I hope your friend is not applying for immigration for the same reason given he applied for himself only...just kidding!!).
I just have 1-888-242-2100 CIC calling number which may be non-specific to NS

Just to update the forum..
in another e-mail reply, I got buff write a few more sentences in addition to the routine 30 weeks email. they did acknowledge the receipt of application but also mentioned they do not update the website for any receipt of application or other documents including medicals. Looks like they just correspond you personally/update ecas whenever they get time to spend on ur stupid least interesting application- they apparantly have more important and interesting stuffs in life than going through your (many times absurd) application. so stay calm guys ! You'll get it one day. cheers.

Hi Arshad,

Some of your questions have already been answered.

1. To call CIO from outside Canada follow the instructions below:

You need to call at 16139444000 and then select options in this sequence 1...2...1...2....1

You would be placed in queue and after 5-10 minutes, your call would be attended by someone. The person would ask for client id. If you dont have it, provide your name and DoB and then ask for your status & client id.

2. PCC is required with full submission of your documents to your respective visa office.

3. You can claim points only for the people included in the application. Your friend can not claim points if he persues the application without his wife as co applicant ; but if he decides to include them (wife /children) when he is submitting his full application to VO then he could get points for his spouse. Of course he has to pay the processing fees for them.

Satnam is one such example who is trying to include her spouse/children with her full submission of documents to VO. Anata also corroborates such instances which is quite a common practice in Phillipines.

Hi Passenger,

I reasons cited for Mehar and Canadaforsure were insufficient job duties. Other reasons could be wrong visa office, leaving blank spaces in the form, wrong fee payment, insufficient information and many more.

Hi Prince,

I think your documents provide sufficient support for your application. People add payslips and contract to make their application strong with evidence. It is always preferable to get the contract of your job if you can.


Some VO have specific requirement for Notarised employment Contract. Check the Checklist of your VO.
