Dear All,
Below is the diagram or the Steps by the CIC/CHC to assess our applications as we all know. It is a misconception that 2nd AOR is issued after Paper Screening Decision and Eligibility Review because Step 3 (below) explains what does it mean. (If it has been so as commonly believed, they would have explained the way we are assuming).
Step 4 means what we assume i.e. Paper Screening and Eligibility Review. (But what kind of letter is issued with additional information ???)

Step 6 is ''In Process''....

So we are wrong if we think we have cleared Paper Screening......ours next step may be Step 4 or we jump direct at Step 6...

1. APPLICATION RECEIVED Application Received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
We have received your application. After checking for completeness,
a file has been created and the information from the application form was entered.

2. Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S)
ELIGIBILITY REVIEW COMPLETE The review at the CIO-Sydney has been completed.
A letter with additional information has been mailed.

3. RECEIVED BY VISA OFFICE The application and documents have been received by the visa office.


4. Visa Office - Eligibility Review Complete The review of the application and supporting documents has been
completed at the visa office. A letter with additional information has been mailed.


5. Application Withdrawn We withdrew your application and your file has been closed.


6. In Process Based on review of your complete application package, it has been
determined that your application is eligible for processing.
Processing has begun

Based from those who called the CIC office, they are already processing until May 3 applicants, how come that there are still Apr.21 etc..applicants who have not even received their 1st AOR . And when I checked the May thread forum, there were already 2 May applicants who were able to received their 1st AOR. ??? confusing

Whenever you update the list next time can you please change my dates, actually my doc were received by London office on 15th and it was sent 10th Sep.

I went before to foreign affairs office Nasriya, it is near Nasrya traffic. I think the one in Dabab is responsible for commercial attestation only (not sure).
Regarding police head quarters as i told you it is very near to Khaldia towers in Khazzan street , if you reached there you can ask any taxi driver and he will drive you there (sorry i do not know the exact location).

what did you do for your photographs? did you write anything at the back or simply sent them as it is..

I am a little worried about mine as i mentioned earlier ive written my Name DoB and sign ..which is totally out of context

Hi Gavi,

My lawyer asked for my height and color of the eyes and i assume he write that at the back of the photos. But you dont worry if they need new photographs they will ask you for this, they cant refuse your application on this, so dont worry.

But unfortunately i was rejected (00213) coz i did not mention which office to do processing..
they said apply acc to rules change after july 26 and my occupation is not in list.

so wait for next review list...or what do u suggest.

Sorry to hear about your rejection bro, unfortunately you cant do much but to wait for the list to be changed but some other ways are to get to Canada on a student visa and after completing the degree then you will have a chance to apply for PR but it depends on your situation and how eagerly you want to get to Canada.
