Hi,

You have now 120 days to submit full docs to your visa office. If you have not gather all the documents then starting doing so and also IELTS if you have not given that yet then get yourself register for the next available date. You will need a employer reference letter which should include your job tile, job duties, annual salary, job status full or part time and also get the business card of your employer. Apply for Police Cleareance Certificate for the countries where you have lived continous for 6 or more months since turning 18yrs of age. All documents which are not in english get them translated.

is it necessary to get University seal envelop

dear Saki
i would like to ask if all of your documents are attested by HEC, IBBC and foreign office then it is necessary to send transcripts and degrees in university seal envelop or not? in the past most of the applicants sent their documnents in simple envelop and their documents were accepted, but it was Islamabad office. because it is very difficult to get university seal envelop.

I have done my bachelors and masters from Australia so i didnt have to attest it from HEC, but i have attested my wife transripts/degree from HEC only, dont have to attest it from IBBC and foreign office, i only attested my translated marriage certificate from foreign office. With the univesity sealed envelope yeah its really hard to get one and i am sending my wife documents without university envelope and they are already HEC attested so i dont think it will create a problem for not having it in a university envelope.

No its not necessary HEC is fine, actually if you see the checklist it does not even ask for the HEC attested but we all know what happens in our country so to be on the safe side people get it HEC attested so that visa office dont create any issue of transcripts being original or fake.

Hi Jamy,

I myself dont have an original birth certificate, i just have a photocopy and i asked a lawyer about the birth certificate he said birth certificate is required only when you are claiming point for relative in Canada otherwise matric marksheet is enough to confirm your date of birth and father name.

infact in our Overseas card cum Identity card also they have mentioned Birth Certificate and yes Matric certificate also is not a bad idea thanks mate .

In checklist it says up to date reference letter from employers. As based on my previous experience.
I have got experience letter 3 years old (when I left that job), do I need to get it again with today's issue date.
and currently I am working as a customer service in supermarket do I need to get letter for that as well which shows my status till date.
I have applied as Chef based upon my previous experience and studies, I have mentioned my customer sevice in history background,

Do I need to get both employment letters or just one related to my NOC

I feel very weird writing 420 along with your name.

Anyways, Recent Reference letter for the related NOC code is must. Also for the current job. If you could provide recent reference letters for your old jobs then its perfect otherwise just mention why you could not get it and send the 3yr old ref letter.
