I have a question regarding POF. My bank charges a lot if I ask for last 6 months statements. However, all the statements are normally delivered to me as E-Statements. Bank told me that I can print those E-Statements for 6 months and they will Stamp all the papers without any cost plus they will give a letter as well mentioning the current balance.

Is it okay? Or should I apply for original statement?

This thread is of course related to April 2010 application. My application reached on 23st Jun 2010 as per fedex courier tracking. Will you mind to provide some information?

I read a user message that his friend 's application ,which was sent in March 2010,
is returned because of quota filling of 1000 applications. However I have seen other users message to receive first AOR although their applications were delivered in April 2010.
This contrast of CIO application processing has confused me a lot, frankly.
If for example this quota limitation happens with me then can I be able to appeal against CIO in canadian courts about wrong handling application under new rules?
Or we are only at the CIO disposal of its wish. Or the date delivery rule exist in real for application processing. Or the user was making a lie about returning application?

Senior please respond because I have to appear for IELTS but this conflicting messages have demoted me.

Hi Navali,

Estatements are perfect and you are taking extra measures to ensure that they will be stamped by the Bank authority themselves and an additional letter with current balance....perfect.

I have applied on 19th April and they have received my application on 23rd April 2010.

I have applied without IELTS result. How was your application sent? with IELTS or without IELTS.

Hi Tariq,

The information that you have regarding the return of application in March due to filling up of 1000/NOC quota rule is NOT TRUE. Because the Quota Rule was not even existent in March 2010. It was in effect only on 26th June,2010.

Before anybody would want to challenge the Canadian Courts, be extremely careful with the information that you have on your file. Be assured that if you have something wrong on the details of your application and yet challenge the courts then you might take a very long time to immigrate.

Now about your application which was delivered on 23rd Jun by FEDEX. You are a boderline case because though your application was delivered and received on 23rd Jun (Wed), you do not know when your application was entered into their system. We have observed on this thread that even though the application was recd on a particular date, it never made it onto their system on the same date, it was always the next date and if it was on a Fri then the entry date was the following MOnday.

Having said that, you might be just lucky as your application might have been entered on 25th Jun (Fri) at CIO,Sydney.

You can try and give them a call to check if you are in their system yet. If your NOC is still in the New list go ahead with the IELTS.

Hi Tariq,

You were not supposed to send your IELTS results with your initial application. It was a recommended suggestion by CIC to write the test before you applied to CIO so that you are aware how many points you could score from language and not be surprised on a later date when VO might mark you less on language.

You send Original IELTS with your full docs.

Just one more question

I have some funds in the form National Savings Bonds? Can we show them as POF as well?

The issuing authority can give a statement that shows the date of purchase of those bonds, profits date and total balance till today. Is it fine?

Thanks for useful information. My application as per Fedex was delivered on 23rd Jun 2010 [WEDNESDAY]at 10:40am by S. Lahey.
So if application is entered into system next day then it should be 24th Jun 2010 [THURSDAY]. so in that case also it is before 26th Jun 2010 [Saturday].
Is there any case that application was entered in system after many days? Date rule should belong to delivery date only. All internal processing delays should be CIO 'own responsibilities and sender should not be blamed for late sending. It is just my views. Kindly let me know the actual real facts. So I should be prepared for reality.

Is it normal? My application was recieved 23rd April, 2010 and am yet to recieve my first AOR....my payment method was through an international Bank draft...was just curious cos some of the same day are already receiving their...Still hopeful...
