Did anyone had their oath taking yet? Or am I the only one who has not heard anything from CIC since the test. My case is still "under process" as of today.

It is not normal to wait that long after having taken the test. Call immigration and ask. If they can't tell you anything, look up who is your member of parliament and pay him a visit to ask him to make an enquiry into your case. It is possible that you failed the test and that they want to schedule you for an interview with a citizenship judge. I am aware that this may take a long time if that is what happened but I still think that a year and a half is over the top.

Had the test on Sept 2009 and 1 year later, still haven't heard anything from them. I was told by immig agent to send letter to local office but 2 letters later, still haven't heard anything...

And yes, I am considering calling the MP.

Filbert, your inbox is full as I tried to reply to your pm but didn't go thru

You are not alone guys, I have been waiting since Feb. 11, 2010 and still no feedback. I got through to CIC once via phone and was told that my test results were only logged in May. So it basically took them 3 months to record the test results. CIC told me that it would take another 6 months after May before looking at my file.

Very sad indeed the CIC processing times nowadays.

I applied in April 2009 and I still have not been given a test date! It's pathetic!

My significant other applied in june 2009 and to date he has not gotten a test date either. SMH.

I have sent a number of letters with the same reply. Oathtaking dates were scheduled this month and on November 4th, but I did not get an invitation. I have taken the test April 2009 IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR. :o If I did fail, I would have gotten a notice right? to appear before a judge for an interview? I didn't get that either, so I'm clueless about the progress of my case.

If you are not getting any answers from either the CIC call centre or by sending letters, do try to talk your MP and ask him or her to enquire into your case.
