Hi Everyone

NEED HELP

I am a Canadian citizen and my husband lives in India, we got married in April 2019. we have known each other for last 10 years we were friends before. We studied together back in 2009 for year and a half and in 2017 we decided to take our relationship to the next level. we have all that chat history and call invoices starting 2017, also I visited him in 2018. Our families doesn't approve of our relationship because of different religions. We decided to marry in private and nobody knows about our wedding.
Concerns:-
1) we have few Photographs of our wedding, no families and friend were invited.
But we went for our honeymoon right after wedding so I have my honeymoon pictures. Is that enough?
2) My husband changed his last name in 2017, now that we needed the DOB certificate it has different name on it that he never used, Indian authorities added his new name on the DOB Certificate as Alias to his wrong name. Is that the problem?

Please reply
Thanks

1. You will need to explain why family did not attend the wedding. Hopefully you so have some wedsimg pictures since there was no reason to not take pictures. IRCC is aware of the issues that would come with marrying someone of a different religion. Juat be honest about your situation.

Your husband must have some legal documents that approved his name change. You should include that document and update any current IDs that he has with his new name.

Thanks for the reply.
We do have wedding pictures but no big ceremony and also affidavit stating that he changed his last name and also an affidavit that DOB certificate has wrong name on it and they are refusing to remove the wrong name.
