Approved Temporary Residence - Passport submission extension

I have received an email requesting my passport to Immigration and finalize my application however my travel document is still with VFS Global Abu Dhabi for Netherlands Visa application and i will be traveling from 3rd March until the 20th March. In the letter received yesterday (20th Feb) stated that i have 30 days upon receiving the letter to submit my travel document, failure to do could result in the refusal of my application.

I was suppose to travel to Canada from 4th Feb - 12th Feb however approval took longer that I expected. In response to this i have arrange another travel plans and unfortunately this impacts the submission of my travel document.

What are my options here since i have travel itineraries already planned prior this request and I won't be able to comply in the timelines given. Is there any way I can submit my travel document when I'm back in Dubai (21st March)? Request to extend travel document submission is even possible? I am willing to comply on whatever options and requirements for this extension request.

Raise a webform and let them know you have a planned travel and attach your travel tickets as a proof and request for extension. February has only 28 days, technically you should be good to submit on the 21st of March. Good luck
