I applied recently for a study permit to canada in 19/8/2016
Got refused for the following reasons:-
Purpose of vist
Not a bonafide student
Then i went to immigration lawyer in 15/10/2016
He is really a skilled man and noww
My visa got approved!!
Flying in jan 5

I'm a Yemeni applicant who applied on october 15 online in Yemen, flew to Muscat, Oman to get my biometrics done on the 13th of November, Recieved an Application Accepted E-Mail with a tracking number. It stated that it was being processed in Abu Dhabi. I still didn't get a medical exam request or anything ever since. How was your experience with CIC & can you give me your timeline till the day you received a visa?.

10th - 82 %
12 th : 69.5 %
Previous education - bsc electronics and communicaion systems( 74 % )
Work exp : 5.5 years in IT
Current course taken from canada spp college : UG diploma in computer engineering technology /technician
IELTS Score : 6.5 overall

Refusal reason : Your proposed studies are not reasonable

I am planning to reapply under non spp by next week with sop stating the course and purpose of my study which is related to my previous education and current work experience. Also am getting an extension from college from my current joining date which is jan 9th. This time I will make sure all docs in place and earlier my spp application was filed via online with the help of consultant.

When & from where did u apply? Whats your nationality?
Talking about ur rejection, since did BSc in Electronics & Communication and u are applying for diploma in computer engineering, try to bridge a gap in between your past education, job experience and your proposed studies. Apply for masters or PHD in E&C engineering. I hope this may help u.

bsc ( electronics ) is not really much related to my current job profile.But yes some subjects in this diploma are similar with my previous qualification too. My exp is completely into IT. This course really boosts my career , I dont relate any other diploma which is matching my job profile. If I give a strong sop and course recommendation letter from college. Will it work ?

I don't guarantee that it work but if you can get a job employment letter from your employer if he can hire you again after finishing your studies in a different job position, then that will add value to your sop.
